Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) govern your use of the website and the services offered by NorthVector Auto Repair Spain (“NorthVector”, “we”, “us”, “our”) in Spain. By accessing our website, requesting a quote, booking an appointment, or authorizing work, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree, please do not use the website or our services.
1. Introduction
These Terms describe the rules of use for our website and the scope of our automotive diagnostics, maintenance, and repair services in Spain. Additional conditions may apply to specific services, promotions, or third-party parts suppliers and will be provided at the time of booking or on the invoice/work order.
2. Services and scope
We provide vehicle inspection, diagnostics, servicing, maintenance, and mechanical/electrical repairs. Service availability can vary depending on vehicle model, age, prior modifications, access to replacement parts, manufacturer constraints, and workload.
- We may decline work that is unsafe, unlawful, or outside our technical capability.
- We may recommend additional work where necessary for safety, compliance, or to complete a repair properly.
- Time estimates are indicative and may change due to diagnostic findings or parts supply.
3. Quotes, diagnostics, and approvals
Any quote provided via website, email, phone, or in-person is an estimate based on the information available at the time. Final price depends on the actual condition of the vehicle, confirmed diagnostics, labor required, parts used, and any additional issues discovered during service.
- We require customer authorization before starting chargeable work, except where urgent action is required to prevent immediate damage or a safety hazard, and where permitted by applicable Spanish law.
- Diagnostic checks may be chargeable. If diagnostics are needed to provide an accurate quote, we will inform you beforehand.
- Where additional work becomes necessary, we will seek approval before proceeding whenever reasonably possible.
4. Booking, appointment rules, and customer responsibilities
When booking, you agree to provide accurate contact information and vehicle details. You are responsible for removing personal belongings from your vehicle prior to service. We are not responsible for loss or damage of personal items left in the vehicle, to the extent permitted by law.
- Please arrive on time. Late arrival may reduce service time or require rescheduling.
- If you authorize a third party to deliver or collect your vehicle, you confirm they have permission to do so.
- You confirm you have the legal right to authorize work on the vehicle.
5. Payments, deposits, and invoices
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment is due upon completion of the work and prior to vehicle release. We may request a deposit for special-order parts, extensive labor, or where a booking is reserved specifically for you.
- Invoices and work orders describe the services performed and the parts installed.
- Ownership of parts supplied by us may remain with us until payment is received in full, where permitted by applicable law.
- Late payment may result in reasonable collection measures consistent with Spanish law.
6. Parts, third-party components, and availability
Parts availability depends on suppliers and logistics. If you supply your own parts, you accept responsibility for their suitability, compatibility, and warranty coverage. We may refuse customer-supplied parts if they are unsafe, counterfeit, incompatible, or likely to compromise repair quality.
- Where parts are discontinued or delayed, we may offer alternatives or adjust timelines.
- Returned parts may be subject to supplier policies and restocking fees.
7. Warranties and workmanship
Warranty terms (including duration and coverage) are specified on your invoice and may vary depending on the service and parts used. Warranty coverage may be limited or void where the issue results from misuse, neglect, racing, off-road abuse, unauthorized modifications, prior poor repairs, or failure to follow manufacturer maintenance guidance.
- Keep your invoice/receipt to make a warranty claim.
- Where permitted, our warranty may require an inspection before any related work is performed elsewhere.
- Normal wear-and-tear items are generally excluded unless otherwise stated.
8. Cancellations, no-shows, and rescheduling
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us at least 24 hours before the appointment time. Late cancellations or missed appointments may result in a reasonable fee, especially where we have reserved a dedicated time slot or ordered parts specifically for your booking.
9. Website use and acceptable behavior
You agree not to misuse the website. Prohibited actions include attempting unauthorized access, interfering with website performance, scraping content at scale, uploading malicious code, or using the site in a way that violates applicable laws or third-party rights.
- We may suspend or restrict access to protect users, our systems, and our business.
- Content on the website is provided for general informational purposes and may change without notice.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by Spanish law, NorthVector is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of use, loss of profits, loss of business, or loss of data. Our liability for direct damages is limited to the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim, except where liability cannot be limited under applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under Spanish consumer protection or other mandatory laws.
11. Force majeure
We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including supplier disruptions, labor issues, power or network failures, natural disasters, severe weather, or governmental measures.
12. Governing law and jurisdiction (Spain)
These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Where permitted by law, disputes arising from these Terms or our services are subject to the courts of Madrid, Spain. If you are a consumer, mandatory consumer jurisdiction rules may apply.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will be posted on this page. Continued use of the website or services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
